Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies Corp. is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Program Manager to support the AFLCMC/WB program office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.  Candidate must have a TS/SCI clearance and the following experience:

 

  • Experience developing and coordinating DoD 5000.02 acquisition milestone plans and associated reporting documentation for one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs.
  • Less than 4 years of SAP experience is acceptable. 
  • Experience preparing documentation, presentation materials, and staff packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions.
  • Experience in managing the quality review and stand up of manufacturing capability in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Development phase, as well as the Production phase on an ACAT I or equivalent development program to include:
    • Assisting program offices with implementing and executing manufacturing readiness assessments per the DoD Manufacturing Readiness Level Guide;
    • Government oversight of prime contractor and subcontractor manufacturing teams;
    • Level II Acquisition Professional Development Program certification.
  • Experience and capability to support assigned program management tasks and lead support personnel in these tasks. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 25 years relevant experience.
  • Five (5) of these years must have been in an acquisition program office on an ACAT I or ACAT II DoD acquisition program as either Program/Project Manager (PM), deputy PM, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead and must have occurred within two (2) years of selection for employment under this contract.
  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with full range of acquisition program management tasks in procurement, financial management and planning, systems engineering, test, production, security, contracting, and logistics for existing and future programs across the weapon system lifecycle.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of all manner of program documentation.
  • Support the review of proposals and, as assigned by the customer, shall serve in a non-voting advisory role for program source selections.
  • Support coordination of documentation between functional organizations inside and outside 
  • Support program milestone planning and preparation.
  • Support risk management and process improvement. 
  • Support meetings internal and external to the program
  • Support evaluation and communication of program progress in writing, in briefings, and in discussions with Program Office and higher management.
  • Develop and coordinate responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries.
