Job Description
HII is looking for a Process Improvement Analyst to support the Aerospace Systems Directorate (AFRL/RQ) with their digital transformation efforts to modernize their business information technology and business processes.
This position will support the Customer Management Lead for guiding the AFRL/RQ through the cultural, procedural, and technological shifts required to successfully implement digital initiatives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Overall responsible for crafting and executing communication strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of digital initiatives across AFRL/RQ. Responsibilities include:
• Communication Strategy and Planning: Develop a comprehensive communication plan aligned with digital materiel management goals and ensuring messaging is consistent, clear, and effectively conveys the value of digital initiatives
• Stakeholder Engagement and Messaging: Tailor messaging to different stakeholder groups, including executives, employees, and external partners and proactively communicate benefits and managing expectations
• Content Development and Storytelling: Create engaging content such as newsletters, blog posts, presentations, FAQs, videos etc, communicate success stories to showcase the impact of digital efforts and ensure technical concepts are translated into accessible and completing narratives
• Change Management Support: Work closely with Change Management Lead/Customer Success Lead to reinforce digital adoption through effective messaging
• Develop communication strategies that help employees understand and embrace new digital tools and processes and provide communication materials to support training and engagement initiatives
• Digital and Multi-Channel Communications: Utilize various communication platforms to reach employees effectively and monitor engagement metrics and adjust communication tactics accordingly
• Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops to gauge employee sentiment and address concerns in real-time. Conduct surveys and focus groups to assess communication effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
Strong background using change management and customer engagement methodologies and tools. Experience in the IT domain would be beneficial but is not mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary since individual will be responsible for interacting with customers and organizational stakeholders. They will be responsible for communicating change plans to those involved so that process leaders understand actions, expectations, and how they will be measured. Communication and analytics skills are very important and will be needed in interviewing and collecting data, along with analyzing the data to inform and support organizational change.
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
Preferred Requirements
• Agile SAFe Certified Scrum Master and PO/PM would be beneficial but not mandatory
