Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies Corp, is looking for a Mission Systems Test Manager Subject Matter Expert to support the B-21 program office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.  

It is highly desired that the candidate be a graduate of a formal Test Pilot School.

  • Test knowledge and experience in at least two of the three areas on ACAT I, ACAT II, or equivalent aircraft development programs:
  • Development, integration, and test of Mission Systems to include communications systems, sensor systems, cockpit systems, and aircraft armament systems;
  • Nuclear Integration; developing and integrating Mission Systems onto low observable aircraft.
  • Provide test and evaluation services for the program office.
  • Experience and capability to support assigned program test management tasks and lead support personnel in these tasks. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Accomplish a full range of new and ongoing acquisition test management tasks in support of AFLCMC/WB to include:
  • Managing and executing all program test activities, including the planning, execution, and reporting of test projects, on behalf of the program office;
  • Updating and managing all program office test documentation, including test plans, test priorities, test schedules, test memorandums, and test reports;
  • Assisting in coordinating test planning working groups, logistical requirements, program office delegations, technical interchanges, and day-to-day interactions between the program office and supporting test, intelligence, and technology organizations;
  • Applying systems engineering, test engineering and test operations expertise to projects and program challenges, and advising project leads and project engineers on all matters of test engineering as it applies to highly technical program office efforts;
  • Supporting the Program Director at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events;
  • Managing interactions and cultivating relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper level staff.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 25 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field, 20 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree; High School Diploma or equivalent and 30 years of relevant experience. 
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
