Job Description
HII – Mission Technologies Corporation seeks a Senior Mission Systems Test Manager Subject Matter Expert for a position at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role requires TS/SCI eligibility.
It is highly desired that the candidate be a graduate of a formal Test Pilot School as well as a degree in electrical, aerospace, mecahnical or other relevant engineering degree.
Essential Experience for this role includes demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following domains within ACAT I, ACAT II, or equivalent aircraft development programs:
- Development, integration, and test of Mission Systems to include communications systems, sensor systems, cockpit systems, and aircraft armament systems
- Nuclear Integration; developing and integrating Mission Systems onto low observable aircraft
This position will support test and evaluations services for the program office including leading support personnel in program test management tasks.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Accomplish a full range of new and ongoing acquisition test management tasks in support of AFLCMC/WB to include:
- Manage and execute all program test activities, including the planning, execution, and reporting of test projects, on behalf of the program office
- Update and manage all program office test documentation, including test plans, test priorities, test schedules, test memorandums, and test reports
- Assist in coordinating test planning working groups, logistical requirements, program office delegations, technical interchanges, and day-to-day interactions between the program office and supporting test, intelligence, and technology organizations
- Apply systems engineering, test engineering and test operations expertise to projects and program challenges, and advising project leads and project engineers on all matters of test engineering as it applies to highly technical program office efforts
- Support the Program Director at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events
- Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper level staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- 25 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 20 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 30 years relevant experience.
- Subject Matter Experts must have experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
