Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Manager to support a high-priority government team at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The successful candidate will provide expert technical guidance in the administration of SAP and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), manage classification processes, and execute critical security functions across complex classified programs.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Support and collaborate directly with the Chief of SAPF/SCIF Operations and Government Security Officer (GSSO) on SAP-related tasks.
- Ensure full coordination and compliance with SAP responsibilities as directed by the Chief and in conjunction with GSSO.
- Maintain continuous security oversight of SAP activities and support investigations of security violations.
- Deliver security education and awareness training tailored to program requirements.
- Conduct security surveys, special inspections, and enforce classification management protocols.
- Serve as the organizational representative in the absence of the Chief and GSSO, liaising with oversight bodies and government/contracted partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years progressive experience in related field; or Master's degree + 4 years; or High School diploma + 10 years
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
- Minimum 3 years administering and maintaining SAP
- Hands-on knowledge of SCIF and SAP facility operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with DCID regulations (e.g., 705, 704)
- Working knowledge of DoDM 5205.07
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience as Special Security Officer (SSO) administering SCI programs
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills with government stakeholders
Physical Requirements
- Occasional travel to program or customer sites may be required
