This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

Job Description
HII's Mission Technologies Division has an immediate opportunity for a senior program manager on the Advanced Capabilities and Strategic Integration (AC&SI) Team. The position is embedded within and directly supports the Electronic Warfare Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The selected candidate will provide a full range of acquisition program planning, analysis, and management in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Defense 5000 Series Adaptive Acquisition Framework guidance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Track and manage the revenues and expenditures for complex programs
- Provide program oversight from planning stages through inception and completion
- Provide team tasking clarification, guidance, and direction to assist the customer in achieving their required outputs and deliverables
- Act as the primary customer contact for program activities
- Lead program review sessions with the customer to discuss program cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Support identifying, analyzing, mitigation planning, and monitoring program risks, issues, and opportunities
- Generate, conduct, and/or coordinate the following:
- Program reports, government acquisition analyses, assessments
- Technology development and/or acquisition plans
- Conference summaries
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree along with 15 years’ experience, or
- A master’s degree along with 13 years’ experience
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
- Familiarity with the AF Systems Acquisition process
- Proven ability to be a technical thought leader
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicated technical concepts clearly
- Ability to provide leadership through changing project requirements and priorities
Preferred Attributes
- Prior work experience as a government civilian employee in any or all of the following roles within an AFLCMC Acquisition Directorate:
- Branch Chief
- Branch Deputy
- Section Chief
- Acquisition Program Manager
- Test and Evaluation Staff Officer
- Knowledge of US Air Force (USAF) Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO)
- Prior USAF active-duty operations
- Active TS/SCI with current background investigation
