Job Description
HII Mission Technologies Division, Acquisition Engineering, Fighters and Bombers Team seeks an Entry/Junior-Level Systems Cybersecurity Analyst/Architect ready to make an immediate impact in the development, integration, and fielding of advanced Fighters/Bombers aircraft and major modifications to communications, navigation, and weapons delivery systems for Fighters/Bombers aircraft. Task work is in support of the Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Directorate and Bombers Directorate on Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
The Systems Cybersecurity Analyst/Architect is part of a team providing System Cybersecurity expertise and acquisition program documentation in accordance with the Department of Defense's Adaptive Acquisition Framework. As such, the Systems Cybersecurity Analyst/Architect will be responsible for following Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance. The Cybersecurity Team will develop, coordinate, and maintain all documentation/artifacts required as part of A&A packages required to achieving Interim Authority To Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) as required by the acquisition program. Documents to be developed may include: Information Support Plans, Program Protection Plans, Cybersecurity Strategies, Concepts of Operation, System Requirements Documents, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Capabilities Description Documents.
This work will primarily be performed be performed at the client site on Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- The Systems Cybersecurity Analyst/Architect is part of a team providing System Cybersecurity expertise and acquisition program documentation in accordance with the Department of Defense's Adaptive Acquisition Framework
- The Systems Cybersecurity Analyst/Architect will be responsible for following Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance
- The Cybersecurity Team will develop, coordinate, and maintain all documentation/artifacts required as part of A&A packages required to achieving Interim Authority To Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) as required by the acquisition program
- Documents to be developed may include: Information Support Plans, Program Protection Plans, Cybersecurity Strategies, Concepts of Operation, System Requirements Documents, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Capabilities Description Documents
Minimum Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or another Cybersecurity-related discipline, plus 9 years relevant experience; or
- Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or another Cybersecurity-related discipline, plus 7 years relevant experience
- Relevant experience is defined as performance of Cybersecurity-related activities on a Department of Defense system or on a Communications, Navigation , or other aircraft system
- Minimum Secret-level security clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- The candidate must be self-motivated, able to work in a team, willing to learn new concepts and processes, and able to take constructive criticism and adapt/learn from mistakes
- The candidate must be able to work independently and in a team to create quality products on time
- The candidate must be able to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
- The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements
• Experience in Department of Defense and/or United States Air Force acquisition programs and cybersecurity
• Experience conducting A&A activities under the DoD RMF
• Be able to demonstrate technical understanding of aircraft communications, navigation, and other aviation related information systems
• Systems Cybersecurity Certifications
Physical Requirements
Work will primarily be performed in an office environment sitting at a computer workstation or in a conference room. Occasional travel by commercial airline or automobile may be required.
