We are looking for a Logistics Support 3 to join our Navy's Expeditionary Logistics Support team in Williamsburg, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stockpiles and providing Integrated Logistics Overhaul/Integrated Logistics Support (ILO/ILS) services in a warehouse setting, working with a diverse range of materials.

What You Will Do

  • Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
  • Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
  • Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
  • Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

  • Identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
  • Assess tasks, provide feedback to the functional lead for the execution of weekly tasks, and adhere to all safety standards and practices.
  • Packaging material for the Expeditionary Sailor ensuring that they have what they need to support their mission.
  • Candidate will be using a Warehouse Management System to schedule, pick and pack military material and assigning it to a specific Table of Allowance (TOA) build as well as reconciling and executing new disposal and maintenance requirements.

What You Must Have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Must have experience in using Warehouse Management Systems
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Federal Supply System
  • Prior Military Logistics Experience

 

 

Bonus Points For Having!

  • Experience using DPAS Warehouse Management System.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
