Job Description
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Fleet Sustainment Program Manager to join our Global Security team. Come Join Mission Technologies! Mission Ready. This position will require working onsite in Washington, DC.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the LCS MM program to include performance and financial goals.
- Program Manager experience in support of Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) and Mission Module Readiness Centers (MMRCs)
- Ensure adequate and timely staffing of LCS MM program to include professional development of all assigned personnel.
- Maintain close contact with customers to make requisite and timely adjustments to program.
- Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards.
- Communicate periodic progress, status updates, and risk assessments to senior management and customers.
- Critical team roll in all four-mission module equipment, to include: Modules include anti-submarine warfare (ASW), mine countermeasures (MCM), surface warfare (SUW), and special warfare missions. (SW) The MCM and SUW modules.
- Manage Module programs.
- Manage and support Government furnished equipment.
- Manage Cross functional Teams a crossed multiple sites.
- Work with Subcontracts to manage Key suppliers.
- Personally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Client requirements: Bachelors degree in managerial, construction, civil or general engineering fields or a minimum 25 years of experience was gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the related field.
- 20 years of experience with DoD acquisition processes in DoD/Navy program management and Field Site Operations, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
- 10 years supervisory experience.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with DoD/Navy program and/or project management overseeing Industrial and Field Site Operations.
- Five (5) years of experience of direct facility management.
- Three (3) years experience with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Processes and Procedures across all MPSF/MMRC facilities in support of maintenance, embark/debark, modernization, engineering, sustainment, logistics, security, facilities, testing and operations.
- Five (5) years experience project management of personnel and resources.
- Three (3) years experience with secured, classified facility management and security protocols.
Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, construction, civil or general engineering related fields.
- Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules or small Unmanned Surface Vessel program support.
- Experience in support of Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) and Mission Module Readiness Centers (MMRCs).
