Mission Technologies (MT), a division of HII, is seeking to hire a Engineer to support operations at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
This full-time position is on-site at NRL on the Maryland side of the Potomac near the southern-most part of Washington DC.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or five (5) years of demonstrated expertise in the field of pulsed power engineering
- Experience in fielding carrying out experiments on pulsed power generators, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and in carrying out analysis of the data
- Ability to coordinate with technicians in operation and maintanence of pulsed power systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US level Secret clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in advanced electronic circuit analysis, transmission line code techniques, electric and magnetic field modeling
- Experience calibration of current and voltage probes
- Experience in engineering-quality system design of pulsed power electrical and mechanical components
- Experience with pulsed power design techniques, data collection techniques, and interfacing data collection devices with various computers
- Experience developing design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test
- Experience communicating orally and in written reports and peer-reviewed publications
- Has an active US level Secret clearance
