This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Position Summary:

HII Mission Technologiesis seeking an Engineering Intern to work on DoD programs. The Engineering Intern will support engineering, scientific, technical and business support services under contract to current government customers located in Warner Robins, GA. The person selected for this position will work both individually and in a team environment.

What you will do

 

Internships are available to help students gain real-world experience in the work force. 

  • The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with mentors and with senior leadership.
  • Support the engineering team with functions in the following specialties: electronics, electrical, business administration
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Assist sr engineers with data analysis, root-cause analysis on electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components and subsystems.
  • Assist in the research, design, development and test of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Create and maintain various reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Capture meeting minutes and distribute according to policy.
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 40% and 60% of the required credits completed.

Physical Requirements

 

  • Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
