Summary:
HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Treasury Financial Analyst to join the team! This can be a remote opportunity.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic leader within the Treasury function, overseeing complex cash management operations, enhancing forecasting models, and driving treasury process improvements. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and senior leadership to ensure the organization’s liquidity and risk management goals are met efficiently and effectively.
You will be responsible for leading cash forecasting, managing treasury operations (ACH, wires, checks, cash positioning), implementing fraud controls, supporting compliance with GAAP and internal policies, and contributing to system and process enhancements across the treasury infrastructure.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee daily cash positioning and reporting, including bank statement downloads, reconciliation, and transaction analysis.
- Authorize and approve high-value cash transactions, ensuring alignment with company policies and liquidity needs.
- Identify, design, and implement process automation and treasury workflow enhancements to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for fraud prevention protocols, including bank controls, positive pay systems, and escalation procedures.
- Support the implementation and optimization of treasury management systems (TMS) and integrations with ERP platforms such as Deltek Costpoint.
- Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of quarterly and ad hoc treasury reports for corporate leadership and auditors.
- Mentor and guide junior financial analysts in Treasury and Finance, ensuring consistent development and delivery of high-quality work.
- Lead treasury-related components of audits and compliance reviews in coordination with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain banking relationships and assist with the management of bank accounts, services, and documentation.
- Prepare and support cash forecasting on a monthly basis by business unit.
- Daily download of bank export (bank statements)
- Review and execute cash transactions and prepare bank accounts for outgoing cash requirements.
- Review and complete bank reconciliations
- Perform weekly tie-out of cash balances with corporate treasury.
- Prepare the cash journal entries to be entered by the GL team.
- Research and validate ACH returns and positive pay transactions.
- Participate in the trial balance flux analysis.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports as requested by corporate and the division controller.
- Assist in identifying process improvement and participate in special projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure end to end process flows are performed according to internal controls/processes.
- Collaborate with the internal and external auditors for successful completion of the annual audit.
- Intercompany transitions
- Support all departments with treasury related issues.
What We're Looking For:
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Experience with leading cash forecasting.
- Experience with managing treasury operations (ACH, wires, checks, cash positioning).
- Experience implementing fraud controls.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems
- Prior involvement in treasury system implementations or process reengineering initiatives
- Strong knowledge of banking platforms, fraud prevention tools, and treasury best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior team members
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is a plus
