Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Operations Planning Support Specialist (Security COOP) to join our HII team supporting our mission partner operations from Shaw AFB, SC. In this role, you will help shape U.S. engagement across the Middle East by coordinating multinational events, advising senior leaders, and driving Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) initiatives that directly influence regional security and long‑term strategic outcomes. Essential Job Responsibilities

Provide expertise on political‑military, economic, and military‑to‑military cooperation events supporting AF operations.

Coordinate multilateral engagement events, including Middle East Air Symposiums, regional air shows, conferences, and other key engagement programs.

Assist with senior leader correspondence to U.S. and foreign leaders, staffing processes, and preparation of high‑visibility briefings.

Advise on strategy supporting long‑range Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) efforts and help develop strategic objectives.

Provide input to financial plans supporting TSC programs and assist with information management.

Review security cooperation guidance from OSD, HAF, USCENTCOM, and AFCENT to ensure alignment with theater priorities.

Support quarterly assessments of the Theater Campaign Support Plan through briefings, presentations, and data analysis.

Develop and track fiscal‑year financial plans for TSC events.

Manage TSC data in systems such as G‑TSCMIS, SOCIUM, C2IE, and CFR.

Support development of TSC Assessment Briefs, Flight Plans, and senior‑level briefings.

Coordinate travel throughout the AOR, including key leader engagements and follow‑up actions.

Serve as Humanitarian Assistance project coordinator, working with USCENTCOM, Country Teams, and AEWs/AEGs.

Monitor contracting processes and ensure visibility and accountability for humanitarian projects.

Review operations, plans, and publications to prepare senior officers for theater operations.

Support CONUS visits from foreign military personnel, including escort duties and transportation coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.

Minimum of one years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail systems or the equivalent.

Minimum of three years’ experience on a NAF or component command staff or higher level or other service equivalent.

Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Possess a U.S. Passport and meet visa requirements for travel to USCENTCOM AOR countries.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s level degree in any subject or minimum of five years’ experience on a NAF or component command staff or higher level or other service equivalent.

Experience supporting Theater Security Cooperation or international engagement programs.

Familiarity with USCENTCOM AOR political‑military dynamics.

Prior experience coordinating senior leader engagements or multinational events.

Working knowledge of systems such as G‑TSCMIS, SOCIUM, C2IE, or CFR.

Strong briefing, writing, and analytical skills suited for senior‑level audiences.

Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, high‑visibility operational environments.
