HII-Mission Technologies is seeking passionate individuals to join our team in partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under the Object Based Intelligence and Quality Assurance (OBIQUA) task order. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) analysis and production, driving new capabilities and insights that will revolutionize intelligence analysis.
You'll be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics capabilities, enhancing the intelligence prowess of the U.S. and its allies. Your work will directly support the unification and operationalization of AI across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, facilitating Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) by enabling rapid decision-making and seamless information sharing, ultimately providing crucial warfighting advantages.

What you will do
- Work closely with intelligence analysts, operators, and decision-makers to clearly define complex intelligence problems, identify underlying assumptions, and structure analytical challenges in a way that is amenable to quantitative and scientific approaches
- Design, develop, and apply quantitative models (e.g., statistical models, predictive analytics, simulation models, optimization models, etc) to support intelligence analysis, forecasting, and decision support
- Develop and implement methods to quantify, visualize, and communicate uncertainty in intelligence assessments, helping decision-makers understand the probabilistic nature of intelligence
- Research and apply techniques from behavioral economics and cognitive psychology to identify, understand, and mitigate cognitive biases in intelligence collection, analysis, and decision-making processes
- Design and evaluate analytical experiments and other empirical studies to test hypotheses, assess the effectiveness of intelligence methodologies, and improve analytical tradecraft
- Translate complex analytical insights and model outputs into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leaders, policy makers, and operational teams
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate state-of-the-art decision science tools, software, and methodologies into the intelligence analytical workflow
- Provide training and guidance to intelligence analysts on decision science principles, quantitative methods, and best practices for structured analysis and decision-making under uncertainty
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in decision science, data science, and related fields, and proactively explore opportunities to apply new techniques to intelligence challenges
- Work collaboratively with data scientists, machine learning engineers, subject matter experts, and intelligence analysts across different disciplines

What we are looking for
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling and probability theory
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis and modeling (e.g., Python, R, etc)
- Experience with data manipulation, visualization, and working with large, complex datasets
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their appropriate application in decision support
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ill-defined problems into manageable, analyzable components
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex quantitative concepts and their implications to non-technical audiences, influencing strategic decisions
- Highly curious, intellectually rigorous, and passionate about leveraging scientific methods to improve decision-making in high-stakes environments
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with a current Poly
Bonus points for...
- Masters with 12 years of experience, or Bachelors with 17 years of experience
- Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years
- Experience working directly with intelligence analysts or senior decision-makers in a consulting or advisory capacity
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks and methodologies
- Familiarity with structured analytic techniques used in intelligence
- Experience in designing and facilitating decision exercises, etc
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
