Job Description

HII - Mission Technologies is looking to hire an experienced Data Management Analyst to provide full-time support for the U.S. Army Cargo Helicopters Program Management (PM) Office in Huntsville, Alabama.  The Cargo Helicopters PM Office provides expert technical support for U.S. Army Cargo Aviation worldwide.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide database administration to the program management office.
  • Provide advice and recommendations involving business process improvements/re-engineering.
  • Ensure business process requirements are incorporated into automated systems for tracking and compliance.
  • Prepare draft briefings and reports on automation initiatives and business processes.
  • Provide customer service to subject matter experts in engineering, logistics, and business divisions.
  • Prepare and present reports and matrices to senior-level acquisition executives.
  • Represent the Cargo Helicopters PM Office at meetings, conferences, and technical events.
  • Participate in Professional Development opportunities to maintain a knowledge base, skills, and abilities to meet or exceed relevant advances in manufacturing, repair, and overhaul capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 13 years of relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; 10 years of relevant experience with a Ph.D.
  • Experienced with specifications, contracts, and engineering drawings (Experience is not limited to the aviation community).
  • Ability to provide onsite (Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama) and telework support as customers require.
  • Support travel requirements up to 10%.
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's or greater in Business, Management, Logistics, Acquisitions, or Engineering.
  • Experience and interest in aviation Configuration Management.
  • 3 years or more of DoD Aviation Maintenance experience.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements

  • Office and industrial environment. Lifting and moving of materials to stay within the guidelines set for a one-person lift.
