Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a skilled Technical SIGINT Subject Matter Expert to support USAFE-AFAF A2 efforts in capturing tactics, techniques, and procedures and lessons learned, institutionalizing exquisite intelligence support to operations. The position also ensures continued decision and battlespace advantage to the HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA (U-A) warfighting headquarters staff, JFACC/RADC/COMAFFOR forces, joint/combined forces, and supported partner forces.
The role will design and implement technical intelligence-driven strategies aligned with A2 priorities to achieve strategic, operational, and tactical objectives in the air domain and counter emerging threats. This includes integrating advanced technical intelligence and TechSIGINT tradecraft into operations, engaging stakeholders to refine intelligence requirements, and leading innovative efforts for time-dominant intelligence delivery supporting the command's air superiority priorities... What You Will Do
- Design and implement intelligence-driven strategies tailored to the air domain to achieve strategic, operational, and tactical objectives, focusing on countering emerging threats and aligning with command priorities and joint force/partner needs.
- Engage proactively with air superiority, air domain awareness, and find/fix stakeholders to refine command technical intelligence tradecraft and TechSIGINT requirements.
- Leverage expertise in air domain operations and counter-A2/AD intelligence to champion warfighter needs by integrating advanced C4ISR and C-IADS intelligence into operations.
- Develop and maintain a detailed Command Signals Priority List to drive command advocacy for collection optimization and innovation.
- Review and update the list quarterly, or more frequently if new high-payoff capabilities or applications are identified.
- Provide the list to the government for validation and provide additional details and/or clarification as required for implementation.
- In coordination with and at the direction of the A2 government staff, provide expert advice on potential technical intelligence contributions to ABAD and counter-IADS development, planning, and operational support, drawing on real-world C2 and counter-IADS planning experience.
- Integrate technical intelligence insights into offensive and defensive operational plans in collaboration with warfighters and planners, offering actionable technical intelligence recommendations to support joint, combined, and allied force operations.
- Develop and coordinate key scenarios with model developers to define, refine, and stress-test models in support of future multi-domain, air, air defense, and C4ISR simulations and assessments.
- Develop and maintain adaptable training materials focused on foundational and evolving command technical intelligence priorities.
- Continuously update and deliver air domain technical intelligence training to high-turnover personnel within USAFE-AFAFRICA and joint force partners.
- Serve as a key repository of institutional knowledge, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining organizational expertise.
- Capture and document historical knowledge as a resource for current and future requirements, capabilities developments, and analysis.
- Document and communicate emerging opportunities through briefings, papers, trip reports, and weekly activity reports submitted to government for approval and validation.
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a current TS/SCI clearance.
- Strong understanding of computer networking, cybersecurity, and signals analysis
- Experience with specific SIGINT functions like Target Digital Network Analysis (TDNA) or Digital Network Exploitation Analysis (DNEA).
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point).
