Summary
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Logistician to manage and maintain the USAFE-AFAFRICA Forward Supply Warehouse (FSW) located at Ramstein AB, Germany. This individual will serve as the COCOM Property Manager, responsible for the administration and operation of the FSW in support of the TASS Operational Readiness Support (ORS) contract. The FSW Manager will oversee all Government Furnished Property (GFP), ensure accurate accountability, and manage the complete supply chain to support IDS missions throughout the AOR.
What You Will Do
- Staff, manage, and maintain all FSW operations, including receiving, warehousing, packaging, shipping, test/inspection, and inventory control.
- Serve as the GP Manager, using the PIEE GFP Module to report the receipt, transfer, shipment, and loss of all GFP in accordance with DFARS clauses.
- Ensure accurate accountability of all GFP by conducting monthly 25% inventory verifications and spot checks of the integrated inventory.
- Stock, manage, and analyze GFP sparing levels at the LRU and SRU level to satisfy operational availability and restorative time requirements.
- Perform Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) on equipment prior to shipment to ensure 100% serviceability.
- Manage Packaging, Handling, Shipping, and Transportation (PHS&T) processes, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-2073 (packaging) and MIL-STD-129 (marking).
- Prepare shipping documentation (e.g., DD Form 1149) and coordinate with the Transportation Management Office (TMO) for all shipments, including HAZMAT.
- Perform assessments for repair/disposition of returned equipment and coordinate with the local Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) for approved disposals.
- Track shipments via Transportation Control Number (TCN) and maintain auditable records of all logistics activities.
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Clearance: Posses and maintains an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in DoD logistics, warehouse management, and government property administration.
- Proficiency with government property accountability systems, specifically the PIEE GFP Module.
- Knowledge of military PHS&T standards (MIL-STD-2073, MIL-STD-129) and shipping forms (DD Form 1149).
- Experience managing inventory, including LRUs, SRUs, and repair parts.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint).
- Prior experience managing a Forward Supply Warehouse or similar logistics hub in the European theater.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, SQL).
- Familiarity with establishing and using a SBSS account for materiel turn-in.

This position requires the ability to travel internationally to customer sites in Europe and Africa. Candidates must be able to undertake long‑duration flights, navigate airports and customer facilities, and move between office, operational, and outdoor environments as needed. The role may involve walking, standing, or climbing stairs during site visits, as well as carrying personal luggage and work‑related equipment up to approximately 25–30 pounds. The position also requires the ability to adapt to varying climates and time zones, work extended or irregular hours during travel, and communicate effectively in diverse and occasionally fast‑paced settings.
