Summary:
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies is seeking an ISSM/Systems Engineer in Ramstein, Germany to support our customer, the US Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces in Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA), who have a requirement to develop a robust, resilient network that supports Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) efforts throughout the USAFE AOR. This includes an IT infrastructure's design, engineering, documentation, implementation, and security. The ISSM/Systems Engineer would be part of a multi-disciplinary team of geographically separated professionals supporting tactical C2 efforts throughout the EUCOM AOR.

What You Will Do:
- Hands-on experience with government-specific incident response procedures and coordination with relevant agencies.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing secure information systems architectures within government environments.
- Responsible for managing a team of security professionals, delegating tasks effectively, and providing mentorship.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's information security program in alignment with government regulations and standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters within the organization and communicate effectively with government agencies and stakeholders.
- Develop, review, and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend risk mitigation strategies for information systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls that mitigate identified risks effectively.
- Coordinate and conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with government security requirements.
- Prepare and submit the necessary documentation for security assessments and evaluations by government agencies.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan tailored to government requirements.
- Lead incident response efforts in collaboration with government agencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
What We're Looking For:
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Experience with Windows and RHEL environments.
- Working knowledge of Cisco switch configuration.
- Working knowledge of firewalls and routers.
- Strong grasp of DoD STIG requirements.
- Willingness to deploy within the USAFE AOR in support of the system.
- In-depth knowledge of government security regulations and standards such as RMF.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and advising on risk-related decisions.
- Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI
Preferred Requirements
- Advanced Degree: A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- Possession of advanced certifications related to government cybersecurity.
- Government Experience: Extensive experience working with government agencies, understanding their security requirements, andnavigating the complexities of government contracts and compliance.
- Proficiency in evaluating and managing security products and services from government-approved vendors.
- Experience in delivering presentations, training sessions, and briefings to government stakeholders and personnel.
