Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Geospatial Information and Data. This position supports a US Government customer at Ramstein AB, Germany. The GEOINT Technical SME will provide expertise in imagery, special signals analysis, software utilization, and other aspects of the geospatial disciplines. This position will focus primarily on Eurasia requirements. It requires a deep understanding of US and foreign capabilities with special focus on Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS).
What You Will Do
- Conduct GEOINT research and produce predictive and finished products, alone and in conjunction with other community professionals and technical SME’s.
- Fully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs and policies; including but not limited to Foreign Disclosure (FD).
- Conduct analysis of geospatial information to produce assessments, articles, reports, special studies, and threat analysis. These deliverables will comply with customer formatting standards and suspense dates.
- Provide data and insights in support of a common intelligence picture. Create and manage databases for use in research and trend analysis.
- Provide support or development of requests for information (RFI). This includes need, availability, desired formats, stake-holders, timelines and redirection of RFIs as appropriate.
- Utilize the appropriate customer and community processes to identify gaps in information and request solutions.
- Collaborate and engage with community partners and affiliates.
- Maintain or create GEOINT databases as required by the customer; utilize the appropriate toolsets to conduct threat analysis.
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years’ experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must obtain Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) for this position.
- Prior, proven history in a GEOINT profession with the US government or military.
- Must be a self-starter who can think, operate, and execute autonomously after receiving basic guidance and intent from a military lead. This role is not for someone who requires constant mentoring and guidance.
- SME level expertise in geospatial imagery and special signals. This may include Full Motion Video, LIDAR, electro-optical imagery (EO), infrared (IR), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), hyperspectral, multispectral, and ground moving target indicators (GMTI).
- The ability to prepare professionally written documents, products, and briefing materials. Must bring proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI.
Preferred: Bonus Points For..
- Prior, preferably recent work history supporting US military operations in the European and African Areas of Responsibility.
- Prior work history with USAFE-AFAFRICA as an intelligence professional - active-duty service member, government civilian, or DoD contractor.
- Experience producing military deliverables such as Commander’s Update Briefs, analytical briefings or articles ,Foreign Partnership briefings, desk notes/ deskside briefs, and other typical written or graphical products.
- A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.
