Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Specialist to provide top-level leadership in implementing and supporting advanced data solutions. We are looking for an individual with full industry knowledge and extensive technical expertise to tackle complex problems and develop innovative solutions in data visualization, configuration, and deployment. You will collect and manage critical data, integrate information across various systems, ensure seamless system interfaces, and provide detailed estimates and recommendations for improvements. What you will do

  • Support KM, Battle Rhythm and Business Process (BRBP) initiatives, to include but not limited to: administrative support, program planning, execution, task and knowledge management, strategic planning, and process improvement
  • Assist the government with data input and reconciliation in enterprise-level data systems enabling mission support
  • Assist the government with the operation and upkeep up of knowledge management systems such as Microsoft SharePoint, organizational websites, or similar systems and capabilities
  • Provide recommendation reports and operating procedures to enable application and adoption of approved knowledge management plans
  • Strengthen connections to aid information exchange within IT systems; support establishment of unity in the organization; execute info technology within the company
  • Extensive experience in supporting the development of strategic documents, implementation plans and guidelines, memorandums, reports, and other information that may be presented to the most senior leaders of the U.S. Government
  • Additional duties as assigned or required 

What we are looking for

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
  • Possess a proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Have excellent time management, communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management 
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Bonus points for...

  • Associates with a minimum of 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR recognized major industry certification with at least 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR a total of 11 years of recent specialized experience without a degree or certification
  • Bachelors and 7 years of experience highly desired
  • 3 years experience working in US Military, US Law Enforcement, US Government, or US Corporate Security
  • Understanding of DoD information security best practices and policies

 

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
