Summary
Join HII-Mission Technologies as an Intelligence Graphic Designer, supporting the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K! You'll play a key role in providing critical and timely intelligence to the Commander, USFK, Combined Forces Command, and their associated staffs and commanders.
The JIOC-K's mission focuses on identifying enemy threats, overseeing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, and dissecting enemy actions to anticipate their likely strategies. This analytical work is essential for enhancing Defense Intelligence, ensuring that accurate, timely, and comprehensive all-source intelligence reaches the Commander and other users. You'll also contribute to transforming theater intelligence operations, leveraging global intelligence capabilities to protect U.S. personnel and interests in the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). Essential Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes graphic software tools to provide solutions for intelligence products
- Provides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques.
- Uses Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content
- Integrates graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products
- Produces dynamic content IAW IC published standards (i.e. D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segments
- Performs quality control and enhancement updates to associated products in the intelligence production process
- Collaborates with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances and visually conveys analytic assessments by developing graphics and layout solutions
- Prepares briefing materials for J2 senior level engagements, TDYs, conferences, or meetings
- Enhances the visual content of briefing materials for J2 senior level engagements, TDYs, conferences, or meetings
- Monitors, tracks, distributes, coordinates, and maintains tasking and tracking systems (such as TMT, e-Tasks, COLISEUM) or equivalent systems on JWICS, SIPR, NIPR, and CENTRIXS-K networks
- Monitors, tracks, distributes, coordinates, and maintains Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) and RFI functions on JWICS, SIPR, NIPR, and CENTRIXS-K networks
- Provides technical assistance to formulate internally generated taskers
- Additional duties as assigned or required
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
- Able to surge support during 2 exercises per year
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a Poly
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelors with 8 years of experience
- Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years
- Demonstrates proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to:
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash)
- Apple Final Cut Pro X
- Apple Mac hardware platforms
- Map Publisher
- MS Office Suite
