Summary
Mission Technologies a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries seeking a Logistics Management Analyst to support the Combat Air Forces Distributed Mission Operations (CAF DMO) program. Selected candidate must be a detail-oriented professional to establish and support detailed logistics accountability, contract deliverables, tracking spreadsheets, and both government and proprietary equipment control systems for CAF DMO simulation and training capabilities.
This role is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work and is executed on-site. #LI-MJ1
What you will do
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Serve as property custodian for CAF DMO Program inventory across multiple locations.

Responsible for accurate input of all aspects of property accountability related to Materiel Fielding.

Identifies discrepancies or defects in products, manages fielding of equipment, and assists in resolving any issues or problems with equipment.

In-depth knowledge of distribution and shipping methods.

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics in accountability documentation.

Demonstrated written communication skills to compile reports and write policies and procedures.

Familiarity with logistics tracking software, spreadsheets, and control systems.

Multitasking skills to quickly switch from one task to another when required.
What you must have
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
- Must be a US citizen, currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance
- Must be able to travel, including internationally.
Preferred Requirements
- Three years’ experience in logistics accountability and control systems.
- Knowledgeable on the operation of materiel management systems and operations
- Knowledgeable on eQuip, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and CostPoint asset tracking software.
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
