HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our customer at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
HII-Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
What You Will Do:
The Senior Software Engineer for DoD aircraft modification programs is responsible for designing, developing, and testing software systems for the aircraft. This may include:
- Conducting system-level analysis and design of software systems, including avionics, flight controls, and mission systems.
- Developing and reviewing technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Coordinating with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Conducting testing and evaluation of software systems to ensure that they meet performance and safety requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other team members.

What We're Looking For:
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Experience with software development and associated systems integration, system T&E, and risk management
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
