Who We Are
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented professional to oversee and drive efficiency in our procurement and redeployment processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong vendor relations, the ability to manage complex workflows, and a knack for problem-solving when situations deviate from standard procedures. The ideal candidate will maintain momentum throughout the entire procurement cycle while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and financial alignment.
What You Will Do
- Estimate & ROM Management: Request initial estimates, build and track the Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), and proactively push the ROM to alleviate delays.
- Procurement Process Oversight: Develop, track, and manage PRs and RIPs, ensuring seamless progression through each stage.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitor and expedite the entire redeployment process, driving resolutions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Post-Purchase Tracking: Oversee EDDs, financial projections, and invoicing, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- RMA Prioritization: Implement creative solutions to accelerate RMA processes while maintaining them as a top priority.
- Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong working relationships with vendors to streamline communication and issue resolution.
- Problem-Solving & Leadership: Guide and manage a team, providing direction and support to ensure steady progress in dynamic situations.
- Proactive Approach: Anticipate challenges and take initiative to resolve issues before they become obstacles, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or process optimization.
- Strong understanding of vendor relations and negotiation strategies.
- Ability to navigate complex operational challenges and drive problem resolution.
- Experience leading and managing a team to maintain momentum and meet objectives.
- High level of initiative with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Clearance: Possess and maintains a Secret clearance.
- Prior PMA-290 and PMA 262 project experience.
- Prior procurement operations experience.
- Financial management of contract task order support experience.
- Experience supporting corrective action planning.
- Experience providing deliverables, to include but not limited to: cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
