Job Description
Mission Technologies, a division of HII is looking for a Operations Analyst to support the NITE contract in Oak Harbor, Washington. The Operations Analyst provides operational and maintenance support for the MRES, MEWTS, and LITL systems, ensuring reliable performance of all associated hardware, software, and mission‑critical components. This role operates these systems during training events, inputs and verifies mission data, and applies advanced technical expertise to troubleshoot complex issues while supporting Mission Coordinators and squadron personnel. The analyst also ensures system operability and documents maintenance actions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provides Operational and Maintenance (O&M) support for all computer information services, data processing hardware and software related to Mobile Remote Emitter Simulator (MRES), Mobile Electronic Warfare Training System (MEWTS), and Link-16 Inject To Live (LITL) systems.
- Responsible for operating the MRES, MEWTS control, and LITL systems during training events.
- Operations Analyst provides pairing commands to the MRES and MEWTS, and provides Constructive Red Air threats and Constructive Surface-to Air Threats to live aircraft conducting air-to air or Electronic Warfare (EW) mission sets within the local operating areas.
- This position is an operator of the MRES, MEWTS control, and LITL system during training events and will follow direction from Mission Coordinators or LITL Analyst as required.
- Operations and maitenance of the MRES, MEWTS control, and LITL systems includes understanding of the RADAR Acquisition Display System (RADS), LITL, Battle Monitor, Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), Digital Radio Management System (DRMS), Electronic Warfare Multiplexor (EW-MUX), Joint Debriefing Subsystem (JDS), and other systems as required.
- Responsible for receiving pre-mission data from participating squadron(s), Mission Coordinator, or TDL Analyst and input required information into RADS and NGTS.
- Interact with Mission Coordinator and/or squadron personnel when data is not received in a timely manner.
- Verify all information received from squadron is correct and accurately reflected in RADS and NGTS.
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved by interpreting manufactures’ manuals or similar document.
- Verifies systems’ operability after maintenance actions. Documents all maintenance actions, provide direction and support to lower-level operators.
- Work typically requires detailed understanding of the interrelationships of computer Operational Software (OS) diagnostics and routine operations.
- Uses related computer analytical equipment to resolve problems. Provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians.
- Assists Mission Coordinator/TDL Analyst/Range Training Officer (RTO) in system setup and perform RADS and LITL functions.
- Work may be reviewed by the lead technician/Mission Coordinator/TDL Analyst for compliance with accepted practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience or;
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field.
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active secret clearance and ability to maintain.
- Must possess a valid state Driver’s License.
Preferred Requirements
- Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy "A" School or vocational school with formal training in the field of computers and related electronic equipment or 5 years OJT in the field of computer science with emphasis on the following:

Physical Requirements
Work will be performed primarily in an office environment. May be required to spend long hours at desk in front of computer screen. May be required to respond rapidly to changing mission requirements. Must be willing and able to communicate via radio, following proper protocol and etiquette. May be required to lift heavy objects
