HII Mission Technologies is in search of a Logistic Support candidate to aid in the upkeep of Class Maintenance Plans (CMP) for our esteemed Navy client, the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement Activity (SUBMEPP). The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Integrated Maintenance Analysis Profile (IMAP) project. This will involve receiving collections of material condition feedback and other relevant source data, and entering the necessary portions into the IMAP repository within the M&SWP database. The ultimate goal is to maintain historical maintenance records information for U.S. Navy submarines.
What You Will Do
- Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
- Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
- Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
- Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals
- Tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities
- Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment
- Documents equipment, component and parts conditions
- Identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
What You Must Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) and or Combat
- Candidate must have experience in systems and related logistics support elements.
- Candidate must be PC literate and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Products and generation of Microsoft
- Candidate must have word documents; Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, and occasionally PowerPoint presentation graphics.
- Candidate must have the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and express (oral/written) ideas clearly and concisely within the organization and to the customer.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CONFIDENTIAL level security clearance.
