Defence giants HII has formed a ground-breaking joint venture to accelerate the development of critical capability for the once-in-a-generation AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine program. HII-Australia combines world-leading nuclear submarine and shipbuilding experience from Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Our primary locations are Canberra - ACT, Henderson - WA and Adelaide - SA, however roles are open to any Australian location.

About you: Key Responsibilities
If you have relevant experience in the nuclear industry, we’d love to hear from you!
Don’t have experience in the nuclear industry? We’d also love to hear from you if you have a commitment to foster a nuclear mindset and have experience in engineering or project, contracts or commercial management, business support, finance, communications or environmental and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Be willing to live and work overseas in Australia for between 3 months and 3 years, depending on the role.
- Ability to obtain an appropriate Australian Visa.
- Ability to hold and maintain a US-based Defence Security Clearance.
