Summary:

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Scheduler to support the United States Air Force Weapons School at Nellis AFB, NV. This position plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and de-conflicting simulator events, training activities, and mission requirements across multiple classified and unclassified virtual training platforms. The Scheduler ensures efficient daily and long-range operations within the Weapons School by managing complex schedules, communicating changes, and synchronizing requirements across instructors, units, and support teams

What You Will Do:

-Simulator & Training Scheduling

• Coordinate weekly simulator requirements with site leads and update schedules in DMOSS.

• Publish and distribute weekly schedules to Weapons School personnel.

• Lead weekly scheduling meetings and de-conflict overlapping training requests.

-Operations Support

• Coordinate simulator downtimes for maintenance and required facility access.

• Support connectivity tests and preparation for major exercises and training events.

• Monitor resource availability and notify leadership of impacts.

-Long‑Range Planning

• Manage long‑term simulator schedules with Nellis units and visiting TDY units.

• Validate long‑range requests at least 30 days prior to execution.

• Maintain accurate calendars and documentation.

-Communication & Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for schedule updates, changes, and issues.

• Communicate adjustments to all stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Participate in meetings and brief schedule impacts as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.

• Experience in a flying Squadron, Group, Wing, or operations support office (e.g., Scheduling, SARM, HARM, Current Ops, Stan/Eval).

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced operations environment and manage multiple simultaneous demands.

• Must have a current or active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DMOSS or similar Air Force scheduling systems.

• Prior scheduling experience within Weapons School, DMOC, or other simulator/virtual training environments.

• Familiarity with Air Force training syllabi, mission planning, or instructor operations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple units.
