Who We Are

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a DIADS Operator (Systems Administrator) as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV.

 

The individual’s primary responsibility is the integration and mission execution of DIADS with NGTS within the JSE environment to facilitate accurate representation and operation of threat SAMs and IADS in the modeling and simulation environment including Scenario Development.  Duties require communication and coordination with Red Czar, Control Room Coordinator, and White Force Coordinator during mission execution/operation, coordination with the 31 CTS Intelligence Office and base Intelligence Squadrons for scenario development and mission planning, as well as the ability to perform regression analysis and test plan development/execution to ensure appropriate interoperability of DIADS within the JSE enclave.

What You Will Do

Integrate, Develop and Operate DIADS version types to provide consistent and realistic representation of SAMS and IADS. Duties will include, but are not limited to:


•    Install current and update versions of DIADS to include varying operating platforms (i.e., Windows, Linux, web-based).
•    Orchestrate and operate constructive representation of red forces for test and training missions.   
•    Develop DIADS mission scenarios in line with customer requirements to achieve desired learning objectives.
•    Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provide advanced trouble shooting support.

What You Must Have

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to clearly and fluently speak and write in English.
  • Mental agility to track and execute multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of military surface to air missile systems.
  • Understanding of Air Force terminology to implement/emulate realistic red forces for test and training.
  • Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance.
  • Must have had an active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months.

Bonus Points For...

  • Advanced understanding of military surface to air missile systems to include relevant threat IADS structure, communication methods and integration at the appropriate classification levels.
  • Experience with Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) Software.to include Linux RHEL 7/8, Windows and Web based DIADS applications with the ability to set conditions for execution and interoperability with external CGFs 
  • Military experience with aviation and combat systems. Military experience with red IADS and/or EW/ISR highly desired.
  • Advanced IADS scenario development experience
  • Highly desired – Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and familiarity with its software components (NGTS, WSCE, DIADS, EAAGLES, GRID, Shot Log, ART, and SCE).
  • Security Clearance: Active or current DoD TS/SCI Clearance

Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
