Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Financial Analyst to support US Sixth Fleet (C6F). The ideal candidate is someone willing to relocate or who already resides in Naples, Italy. The Financial Analyst supports NAVEUR experimentation planning and spend plan execution, analysis, and reporting. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with government lead from Task Force 66 (TF 66) to develop spend plans, track funding, and provide monthly status reports for exercises
•    Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and development of time-phased budgets and schedules for exercises
•    Assist with experimentation plan set up in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements
•    Identify exercise risks and opportunities and provide analytical contribution in working resolutions as required
•    Perform analytical review and arithmetic checks of cost reporting documentation
•    Prepare accurate and complete variance analysis and reporting
 

Minimum Qualifications

•    6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
•    Minimum three years’ experience on Combatant Command or Service Component Staff
•    Working level knowledge and skill of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Experience working within an MS Windows environment. Experience working with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and use of the Internet
•    Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Professional communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in writing and editing skills to include text organization, style editing, punctuation, grammar, and spelling
•    Active SECRET clearance required
 

Physical Requirements

•    Work environment is a modern office physically located at Building C41, U.S. Naval Support Activity, Naples, Italy. Work is performed indoors while living in a low to medium terrorist threat environment with some potential risks to safety and health hazards related to electronics.
