Job Description

HII – Technical Solutions Division is currently seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to work in a "virtual workforce environment" for our customer located in the Northern Virginia area, to support an upcoming anticipated contract. 

 

This position is authorized to work remotely. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Data Integrity Specialists manage  data from source of collection into the operating system environment and/or contractor’s computer system for storage, processing, and exploitation purposes, in addition to enabling efficient data management and information discovery.  They shall:

  • Monitor and flag errors in technology-based/automated collection, e.g., missing and/or duplicate items, and/or transcription drops within items, and coordinate corrections to those errors.
  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
  • Check source documents for accuracy 
  • Verify and correct data where necessary
  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required
  • Transcribe information into required electronic formats
  • Scan documents into  management systems or database
  • Check complete work for accuracy
  • Maintain records of activities and tasks
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • At least one year of specific experience in either/or translation, journalism, foreign affairs, editing,  computer-related applications.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if necessary 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Experience with multiple IC organizations
  • Experience gathering, producing, and evaluating information supporting diplomatic, intelligence, and military efforts to combat the proliferation of weapons, including both weapons of mass destruction, long-range missiles, and certain conventional weapons. 
  • Intermediate foreign language skills (IRL level 3/3+) for related collection targets.
