This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced part-time ISR Operations Support to lead intelligence-driven aviation, reconnaissance, and operational planning efforts in support of U.S. Special Operations, Joint, and Interagency missions. This role requires expertise in ISR platform operations, intelligence integration, and cross-functional mission execution in high-risk, high-tempo environments.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead ISR and aviation operational planning to support Joint, multinational, and interagency mission requirements, ensuring intelligence alignment with operational objectives.
  • Direct daily operations and readiness planning for large, complex organizations, synchronizing aviation and ISR assets for mission-critical activities involving hundreds of personnel.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings, intelligence-informed reports, and mission analyses for senior leaders and multinational partners.
  • Manage lifecycle planning, risk mitigation, and execution for high-consequence ISR-enabled training and operational events, ensuring exceptional safety and operational performance.
  • Oversee multimillion-dollar aviation and flight operations programs, applying disciplined cost controls, resource allocation, and operational monitoring.
  • Partner with defense industry organizations to integrate new sensing and aviation technologies, providing detailed system performance feedback to refine ISR capabilities.
  • Support large-scale operational deployments by developing ISR-informed mission plans, operational timelines, and intelligence integration frameworks.
  • Contribute to acquisition and contract planning for aviation and ISR programs, including justification and oversight of multimillion-dollar operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical, operational, and business development teams to align ISR operational needs with future capability initiatives. 
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct Intelligence or ISR support to U.S. Special Operations.
  • Experience with collection management, intelligence analysis, and briefing senior-level intelligence organizations.
  • Proficiency with Intelligence Community systems, tools, and analytic environments.
  • Experience operating or supporting deployed ISR platforms (rotary-wing, airborne, or similar).
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative, non-traditional information sources to support DoD customers.
  • Experience working within the defense industry as a contractor supporting DoD mission requirements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience integrating new technology or sensors on aviation or ISR platforms and partnering with industry on capability development.
  • Experience leading aviation or ISR operations in deployed, multinational, or joint environments.
  • PMP certification.
