Job Description

  • Perform Property Management duties with indirect report to the CTTR Property Administrator.  Duties will pertain to various property management functions such as Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical Inventory, Reporting, Consumption, Utilization, Maintenance, Subcontracts, Disposition and Close-Out.  Duties may include but are not limited to: 
  • Ensure accountability of Government property in accordance with applicable regulations (FAR 52.245-1), contract requirements and contract plans and procedures 
  • Identify, research and record incoming equipment/assets in coordination with procurement and receiving functions 
  • Create and distribute property listings and reports 
  • Assist Property Administrator and other customers in implementation of property processes to meet requirements and maintain accurate equipment accounts 
  • Collect and record information regarding equipment location, condition, and disposition  
  • Process and track Movement and Transfer Documents, Cannibalization Requests, Loss, Theft, Damage, and Destruction (LTDD) reports and other property documentation 
  • Implement Preventive Maintenance program requirements such as tracking equipment, running schedules, updating records, training contacts, auditing and reporting results 
  • Coordinates the execution and administration of the Calibration program 
  • Assist in identification of excess property and preparation for transfer or disposal 
  • Conduct audits in various functional areas pertaining to property 
  • Participate in custodian training sessions and maintenance of related records 
  • Identify and diligently pursue resolution of issues and discrepancies 
  • Assure all work is accomplished with quality and completeness 
  • Assists site personnel in research and identification of equipment/assets and inventory/material when obtaining replacement/substitute parts if necessary 
  • May be required to travel to remote locations at the particular assigned location to perform duties 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
  • Maintain proper control, documentation, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous/toxic materials in accordance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.  Training will be provided by the military installation or through local or state entities. 
  • Maintain accurate records within the Integrated Enterprise Management System (MAXIMO and SharePoint) and provide a working knowledge of both systems, which will allow personnel to train site personnel. 
  • Personnel will perform to the standards set forth within the Quality Management System, ensuring accuracy and diligent of all work performed. 
  • When required, personnel will assist the Buyers in purchasing items at their assigned location; these purchases will be micro-threshold (under $3,000) procurements.

Essential Job Responsibilities

This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years related experience.
  • Minimum Secret clearance required


 

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience on NITE contract

Physical Requirements

May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
