Job Description

  • Generate daily required Equipment Status Report to include, equipment status and mission capability throughout the day.  Generate daily required log entries of Manning Report. Review Flight Schedule and interface directly, to ensure any scheduled maintenance effort and flight schedule do not conflict.   
  • Notify all affected departments of flight schedule changes. Log all significant incidents/events that have taken place throughout the day.  
  • Use Log to record the location and movement of all range personnel departing or arriving at Thoroughfare Bridge throughout the day.  
  • Perform as the CPTTR Preventive Maintenance (PM) Delegate authorized to make changes to the PM Module.  Generate Preventative Maintenance Inspections of work orders for all required work centers.  
  • Initiate Work Orders, as required, in IEMS for maintenance personnel, in the field, to ensure timely reporting. 
  • Maintain accurate Job Plans in the IEMS. 
  • Acts as the MCOLF Atlantic key control delegate. Issues keys to personnel as directed. Conducts annual key audits and initiates reports to key Custodian.   
  • Provide reports to CPTTR Managers as required.   
  • Perform as the central control point during all emergency responses including range evacuation. 
  • Coordinate initial response notifications to CPTTR personnel when made aware of any hazardous material spill. 
  • Maintains status reports accurately reflecting equipment and system status. 
  • Keeps the CSM apprised of any system changing status upon receipt of this information via email. 
  • Maintains TMDE calibration and PM schedules in the IEMS. Issues these to leads on an as required basis. 
  • Must successfully complete all assigned training and ensure its entry into their training, government assigned training in TWMS, and all other non-recurring training as assigned. 
  • Will accurately document work performed in the IEMS 
  • Other duties as assigned by the CSM. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

The Material Coordinator coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities. In this job, the Material Coordinator reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material, requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material; arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments, and examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified. This Worker may monitor and control movement of material and parts along conveyor system, using remote-control panel board, compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using adding machine; compile report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck; may compile perpetual production records in order to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized system, and maintain employee records.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
  • Minimum Secret clearance required

  • Previous experience on NITE contract

Physical Requirements

May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
