Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Logistics Planner/Manager to support our government customers in Europe.

The Logistics Planner/Manager will be instrumental in daily logistics management and in the planning and execution of movements and other logistics challenges for multiple sites in Europe.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily logistics support to operations on site and as required, at other sites in Europe. 
  • Plan and forecast logistics requirements to ensure the highest possible rates of equipment staging and availability to meet the customer's forecasted requirements.
  • Develops a process for maintaining the accountability and condition of tools and test equipment.
  • Ensures an effective Maintenance Support desk for tool/equipment distribution and accountability in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring receiving, turn-ins, packing, and shipping actions are conducted in IAW standard procedures.
  • Generate purchasing paperwork within computer systems.
  • Process all incoming/outgoing material, both physically and systematically in computer systems.
  • Verify items received by comparing the document to part/serial number, condition, and quantity.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export actions.
  • Monitor and maintain HAZMAT and HAZWASTE materials in accordance with DOD and Environmental policies.
  • Supports strategic supply chain direction by understanding and applying company policies, operating procedures, and IT solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Proven understanding of property accountability and ITAR procedures.
  • Ability to interface at all levels of command and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Clearance: Must have a current active SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Former logistician within an Air Force Operations unit.
  • Extensive writing and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
