HII – Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Deputy Site Manager to work at our Klamath Falls, OR location. As the Deputy Site Manager, you will play a critical role in the responsibility of supporting the F-15 Combat Air-to-Air Training System (CAATS) program. You will oversee all of the academic training and simulator instruction for the F-15 fighter pilots at Kingsley Field Air National Guard, Klamath Falls, OR.

What You Will Do

 

As the Deputy Site Manager, you will report to the Site Manager and assist in the supervision and management of all site activities. You will be responsible for all activities supporting the F-15 Combat Air-to-Air Training System (CAATS) program.  You will also:

  • Supervise classroom academic, ATD training, and ATD operations for all aircrews IAW approved syllabi. 
  • Manage support of classroom academic lectures, simulator instruction and academic or device remedial instruction.
  • Monitor Computer-Based Instructional Technology lessons (CBIT), and provide academic testing, proctoring and evaluation. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise in all phases of CWD. 
  • Manage all activities to evaluate and record student performance within GTIMS. 
  • In absence of Site Manager, will have full authority and responsibility to act for the contractor on all matters relating to daily operation of the contract.  
  • Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors.

What We Are Looking For

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • 10 years Site management experience or military equivalent.
  • Must possess a Secret level security clearance with a background investigation within the past six (6) years.
  • Security: All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

  • PMP Certification
  • Experienced in Quality Management systems and protocols.
  • Scheduler experienced in implementation of all required Academics, Simulators, and training missions identified in the USAF Air Education and Training Commands F-15 Syllabus.
  • 5 years direct aircrew operations scheduler experience.
  • Be proficient in use of Graduate Training Integrated Management System (GTIMS).
  • Possess working knowledge of all applicable regulations, procedures, technical orders, and other publications currently used to meet F-15 CAATS syllabi objectives.
  • Experience in management and execution of the F-15 CAATS Training Certification Plan (TCP).
  • Be experienced in development, maintenance and implementation of a Quality Control Plan.
  • Possess understanding of ATD console operations, debrief stations, threat simulators or other equipment required to execute the F-15 CAATS assigned mission.
     

Physical Requirements

May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
