Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Supply Technician to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) at our Key West location. This role involves performing technical supply management functions such as inventory control, storage, cataloging, and property utilization in support of Department of Defense operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply systems, organizational logistics needs, and the ability to interpret and apply established guidelines to resolve supply-related issues.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory management, storage, cataloging, and property utilization tasks in support of depot and local supply activities.

  • Receive, store, issue, and track supplies and equipment in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic audits to ensure accountability and compliance.

  • Process individual supply actions and case problems, applying program requirements and standardized guidelines.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment of supply needs.

  • Utilize supply databases and systems to input, retrieve, and analyze inventory data.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as requisitions, issue/receipt logs, and inventory reports.

  • Identify discrepancies in shipments or inventory and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support the disposal or reutilization of excess or obsolete property in accordance with regulations.

  • Adhere to all environmental, safety, and health standards, including proper use of PPE and reporting of unsafe conditions.

  • Complete all assigned training, including Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) modules and government-mandated courses.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Supervisor or Logistics Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years related experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in a DoD or government contracting environment.

  • Working knowledge of supply systems, inventory control procedures, and property accountability standards.

  • Familiarity with supply databases and software (e.g., Maximo, DPAS, or similar systems).

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, supply regulations, and procedural guidelines.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Must be able to lift and move moderate-weight items and work in a warehouse or storage environment.

  • SECRET security clearance required.


 

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience on NITE related contract

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines.
