Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Scheduler to be part of the Program Management Office. This role is to support the upcoming Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order (TO).  The project scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timelines are met and supporting overall project success.  The LOGIX TO will support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions. This role will allow for a remote work schedule. 

  

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects stay on track, meet all milestones, and comply with all organizational and mission partner requirements.  Duties may include planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling project schedules and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. 

What You Will Do

  • Schedule Development and Maintenance- Create and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to define project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation; Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and project networks to support efficient project planning and scheduling. 
  • Schedule Tracking and Monitoring – Track and update project schedules regularly to reflect progress and changes, ensuring accurate forecasts and projections; Analyze schedule performance, identifying variances and potential delays and provide CA recommendations. 
  • Coordination and Communication – Coordinate with cross-functional teams and project managers to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and resource needs; Facilitate schedule review meetings and status updates with project teams to address scheduling related issues and concerns. 
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution – Identify scheduling risks, such as resource conflicts or potential bottlenecks and work with project team on mitigation strategies; Support issue resolution by analyzing the schedule impact of proposed changes and delays and providing data-drive recommendations. 

What We Are Looking For

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in project scheduling, ideally supporting large or multi-tenant DoD or government contracts. 
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS word. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Solid understanding of project scheduling principles, EVM and risk management. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. 
  • Clearance:  Ability to obtain and maintain a active Secret Clearance.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Clearance: Possess and maintains a Secret clearance.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification 
  • Experience with DoD processes, scheduling standards and reporting requirements. 
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant project environments or experience coordinating across multiple agencies.
