HII's Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Analyst! The Project Analyst position will work in Mary Esther, Florida and involves providing direct support to various program and project managers in the execution and delivery of contract services. The role encompasses working up and down the leadership chain, within and across teams as required to provide excellence in all we do. Performed from a traditional office environment working with an amazing team of professionals.

What you will do

  • Provide direct support to senior managers in support of contract and program-level operations in the performance and delivery of contract requirements. 
  • Provide enabling support functions including event scheduling, reviewing Visitor Access Request reviews, and supporting stakeholder coordination activities. 
  • Support peer review process of various reports and deliverables with emphasis on grammar, spelling, and compliance with customer template standards. 
  • Provide direct support and oversee the program’s Travel Authorization Request (TAR) and Travel Report (TR) processes. 
  • Assist senior management with data analysis, capturing program and service level metrics, identifying process and performance gaps, and composing meeting minutes.
  • Work across program teams to coordinate, compile, and deliver Weekly Status Reports (WSRs) and Monthly Status Reports (MSRs). 
  • Assist with identifying, establishing, and mitigating risks across the program.
  • Support organizational process improvement activities.
  • Assist with program financial planning, analysis, budgeting, spend plans, and other financial related tasks, as required.
  • Support procurement activities and integrated processes. 
  • Assist management with life cycle support processes and activities pertaining program performance and delivery requirement. 
  • Assist with managing office consumables.
  • Assist with information dissemination, program development, service improvement, risk reduction and other task support activities as required. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure awareness of project milestones, capability roadmaps, fielding and release schedules, and key events. 
  • Coordinate amongst various teams in different engineering disciplines to present a unified, integrated product to project stakeholders.  
  • Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
  • Monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
  • Engage with and manage the work of subcontractor installation companies. 
  • Stay abreast of current Industry best practices.
     

What we are looking for

 

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written communication and customer interface skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Experience in creating reports, briefings, managing information.
  • Experience briefing senior management and/or senior leaders.
  • Interacting and collaborating with others as required to accomplish tasks.
  • Experience working in a Joint DOD environment. 
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure at times, lead people and/or special projects, manage personalities, and develop cohesive teams to achieve successful outcomes.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
