Position Summary
We are seeking an Asset Manager (logistics) to provide contract support to Air Force Special Operations Command’s Technology, Integration, and Support Cooperative organization. The Asset Manager will be responsible for the lifecycle management of Information Technology assets including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and documentation and data entry into asset tracking systems. This role ensures compliance with company and DoD policies and regulations while maintaining accurate records for an extensive list of hardware assets.

What you will do
- Inventory control of $1M+ of IT related hardware components in a mixed-use office/collaborative environment.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation
- Coordinate logistics with vendors and project teams to facilitate smooth transfer of assets between both parties
- Input relevant hardware data into internally managed and DoD managed asset management systems
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and verification of various IT related hardware shipments
- Coordinate the transfer of equipment between contract and government control
- Conduct regular audits to ensure asset records match physical inventory
- Generate reports depicting asset status
- Occasional travel to local shipping/receiving sites or local end-user sites.
What we are looking for
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency in asset tracking software and inventory management tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically excel.
- Experience working in a Joint DoD environment
- Self-motivated and desire to succeed with minimal direction
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment utilizing basic material handling equipment
Bonus points for
- Working knowledge of and experience utilizing eQuip in a government property management capacity.
- Experience utilizing and a solid understanding of the DD Form 250 Material Inspection and Receiving Report, and DD Form 1149 Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Document

- Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
