Who we are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be located close to a Mission Technologies office with remote consideration and a flexible schedule. Primary responsibilities will include timely and accurate processing of payment and termination processing of bi-weekly wages using CostPoint Deltek. The Payroll Analyst must have the ability to work under pressure while relating across a diverse employee group in a customer service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely processing of timecards and labor distribution using Deltek T&E and CostPoint.
  • Process PTO accruals and updates in Costpoint.
  • Process Company in-house payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Process state required payroll disbursements. 
  • Manage garnishment/tax lien payments including maintaining files and submitting notices to ADP for processing. 
  • Use Deltek for payroll entry multiple taxable entities for up to 7,000+ employees.
  • Display an ability to identify and prepare monthly account reconciliations to the general ledger and other payroll centric reporting such as ADP reports.
     

What you need to have:

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate highly ethical and compassionate responses to employee questions and concerns.
  • Self-motivated, team player.  
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Work independently without constant supervision.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deltek Costpoint labor distribution experience. 
  • Deltek T&E experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Audit bi-weekly payroll wages and taxes while providing accurate and timely paychecks to employees.
  • Answer payroll inquiries from employees and research/resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong organization and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Garnishments and garnishment reporting with ADP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
