Job Description

HII is seeking an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler who can effectively apply project management principles to develop comprehensive schedules for large and complex projects.  Our ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, critical path, float, and schedule variances
  • Build and maintain a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from vendors and Government sources
  • Monitor vendor schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances.
  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Act as scheduling subject expert and mentors the program staff with regard to scheduling.
  • Propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Posses expert level knowledge in the use of Microsoft Project.   
  • Experience working with project management tools that may include Gantt and PERT.
  • Proficiency utilizing enterprise-level scheduling software and an understanding of various scheduling tools and their functionalities.
  • Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance.
