Mission Technologies, a division of HII is seeking an Information Technology professional for the role of Computer Systems Architect who will provide support to a government contract located at Redstone Arsenal. Our ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with all levels of personnel and providing technical briefings to leadership including course of actions and solutions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
- Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
- Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
- Develop and recommend corrective actions.
- May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience/knowledge across multiple programming languages.
- Software engineering and architecture experience with large software systems.
- High level of comfort collaborating with all levels of personnel and leadership teams.
- Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance required.
Physical Requirements
- Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of job.
