HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Hawaii. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting a diverse range of professionals in the intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics space. We're looking for a self-driven individual who excels in building relationships, solving complex challenges, and delivering exceptional results.

What you will do

  • Perform full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and effectively fill vacancies.
  • Proactively source and pipeline candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and attraction strategies to attract top talent.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and engage with potential candidates to promote our opportunities.
  • Evaluate candidates based on core competencies and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate offers and compensation packages with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to inform recruiting strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, practices, and regulations.
     

What we are looking for 

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on results-oriented, mission critical roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in proactive sourcing methods and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of candidates and management.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Revolving Door and OFCCP requirements.
  • Experience hiring transitioning military and intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics professionals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
     

Preferred: Bonus Points For… 

  • 7+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on Intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics roles.
  • Experience recruiting for the DoD SkillBridge program.
  • Previous experience with government contracting and cleared personnel.
  • Ability to implement strategic recruiting initiatives and innovative hiring approaches.
  • Knowledge of human resources and compensation practices.
  • Familiarity with staffing metrics and functions.
     

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
