Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Military Advisor to provide expert guidance and training to military personnel on Modernize Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special operations, instructor experience, and a deep understanding of maritime domain awareness concepts. As a Military Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of maritime security capabilities and providing subject matter expertise to military units. What you will do
- Provide expert advice and guidance on Moderinize Maritime MDA operations, tactics, and procedures to military personnel
- Develop and deliver training programs, briefings, and presentations on MDA concepts, including maritime surveillance, intelligence, and operations
- Conduct training exercises and simulations to enhance maritime security capabilities
- Collaborate with military units to develop and implement MDA strategies and plans
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of MDA operations and provide recommendations for improvement
- Travel to various military installations and training sites (up to 50% of the time) to provide training and support
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
- 10 years of military experience, with a focus on special operations and maritime domain awareness
- Proven experience as an instructor, with the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
- Knowledge of Modernize Maritime MDA concepts, including maritime surveillance, intelligence, and operations
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with military personnel and other stakeholders
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
Bonus points for...
- Masters in related field, such as international relations, national security, or a related field
- Experience working with special operations forces, such as Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, MARSOC, or Air Force Special Operations
- Familiarity with maritime domain awareness systems and technologies, such as maritime surveillance sensors and command and control systems
- Experience with training and exercise development, including scenario design and execution
- Knowledge of joint military operations and doctrine
- Clearance: Possess and maintain a TS/SCI
