This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who we are:

HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Director of Program Management for a new, single award task order contract to provide SOCPAC, its service component commands, and its strategic and operational partners with enterprise C5ISR and ancillary services. The Director of Program Management will be the primary customer contact, responsible for the profit and loss (P&L), schedule, and technical performance of this complex program, as well as coordination with various subcontractors. This role requires strong leadership skills to direct all phases of the program from inception through completion. Additionally, this position involves the development of new business opportunities or service expansion and will be based in our Oahu, HI location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for assigned programs, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationship with SOCPAC and other customers.
  • Provide comprehensive program management oversight, coordinating program requirements with subcontractors and employees, including lower-level management.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, leading program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities for new business or expanding services with existing customers.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying and resolving program problems.
  • Make decisions on resource allocation, including personnel and changes to contractual specifications.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program, providing leadership and guidance.
     

What you need to have:

  • 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; or 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field. 
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
     

Bonus points for:

  • A minimum of ten years’ experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the contractor’s proposed methodologies and approach for a program similar in scope and complexity.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working with ISR technologies, military operations, and intelligence life cycle. 
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a site lead and/or managing flight operations for ISR platforms in austere environments.  
  • A minimum of five years’ experience managing performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple OCONUS performance locations.
  • Experience with regulations and processes required when working with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification. 
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working in roles within or with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
