HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Architect II to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Systems Architect II will support enterprise-wide and large-scale information system development in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role focuses on system architecture design, compliance with industry standards, and strategic planning to optimize cross-functional IT environments.

What You Will Do:
- Define and establish system information requirements, working closely with information engineers to develop enterprise-wide IT architectures.
- Design software, hardware, and communications architectures to support current and future system interfaces.
- Ensure system compatibility with open architecture standards, including OSI, ISO, and IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference models.
- Apply Information Management (IM) solutions, integrating components across application platforms, APIs, and external environments.
- Maintain compliance with Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM) standards to support secure and efficient system functionality.
- Analyze workflow, organizational structure, and planning processes, developing corrective actions for optimization and efficiency.
- Oversee cross-functional system implementation, ensuring alignment with technical and operational needs.
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of system architecture design, open standards compliance, and IT infrastructure optimization.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate workflow, organization, and strategic planning in IT environments.
- Ability to lead and direct engineering efforts, supporting enterprise-wide system development.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Expertise in OSI, ISO, IEEE, and TAFIM compliance for IT architectures.
- Experience designing cross-functional IT solutions in defense or government-related environments.
- Strong ability to assess, analyze, and implement corrective actions for complex system architectures.
