HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Research Analyst to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is responsible for defining research scope, solving complex problems, and supporting defense systems development through advanced analysis and programming techniques.

What You Will Do:

  • Define research and development scope and objectives for assigned projects.
  • Develop or modify procedures to solve complex problems related to Defense systems capacity, limitations, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed research specifications to support program development.
  • Oversee program design, testing, and documentation, ensuring alignment with defense requirements.
  • Apply expertise in research application analysis and programming across multiple phases of development.
  • Utilize research analysis techniques effectively to support mission objectives.
  • Work under general supervision, supporting senior analysts and project managers in data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with standard research concepts, practices, and methodologies.
  • Ability to work within structured research environments, assisting in problem-solving and process development.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience conducting technical research for defense or government applications.
  • Strong analytical skills in data interpretation, program evaluation, and process optimization.
  • Ability to apply advanced problem-solving techniques to operational research challenges.
