HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer II to support enterprise-wide cybersecurity and information security initiatives in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role ensures compliance with government and industry security regulations, addressing complex security challenges across mission-critical systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Establish and implement system-wide information security requirements based on user needs, policies, regulations, and resource demands.
  • Provide high-level support in the development and execution of security doctrine and policies.
  • Apply expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as specialized command and control-related networks.
  • Develop and enforce security protocols to maintain the integrity of IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and DoD standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, IT managers, and cybersecurity professionals to optimize security strategies.
  • Utilize extensive experience and judgment to lead, advise, and direct security-related initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, regulations, and procedural standards.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with command and control networks and specialized security implementations.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies.
