HII Mission Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Data/Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Configuration Management Specialist will support configuration management planning, documentation integrity, and change control processes in a dynamic enterprise environment. This role ensures that configuration standards are maintained and that updates to critical documentation, software, and system requirements are properly managed.

What You Will Do:

  • Support configuration management planning, including provisions for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.
  • Maintain original configuration of requirements documentation, design documents, and related technical materials.
  • Oversee configuration change control, ensuring only approved and validated updates are integrated into product documents and software systems.
  • Track problems and modifications in documentation and software, providing status reports on current configurations.
  • Conduct configuration audits to verify that all baseline requirements are met and maintained.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure compliance with configuration standards and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in configuration management.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with configuration tracking tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of government or defense-related configuration management standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess documentation accuracy and compliance.
